I was born in Dubuque, Iowa and grew up in Greenhills, Ohio, near Cincinnati. I attended Ohio Wesleyan University, then transferred to Ohio State, where I earned a degree in Dental Hygiene. I practiced Dental Hygiene in Mt. Healthy, Ohio. One day Jack came and sat in my dental chair and it was love at first sight. We have two daughters and two sons and six really neat grandkids. In March we'll celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary.
In 1993 we moved to Mesa from Plymouth, Michigan, where Jack worked in crash testing and safety for Ford Motor Co. and we love living in the desert and think the desert has a beauty all its own. We built our home here on E. Natal in 1996 and we live here all year. Jack and I like to worship at The Village Chapel in our own community. We "Meet the Lord in the morning" with our neighbors and friends.
We both enjoy taking trips and hiking. My main hobbies are computer, photography, reading and stenciling. We spend time at the library and, when it became apparent that we had to learn how to work a computer to look up things there, we knew we had to buy one and start studying. I think we are so fortunate to have our club and it has really changed my life - opening up a whole new world for me. Working with the membership is fun because I've enjoyed meeting you all and have made many great friends.
