How To Change Your E-Mail Address in Yahoo!Group

1. Open Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.

2. Go to: www.yahoo.com

3. Select “Groups” from left panel.

4. In Search Box, type in: svecc-announce

5. When the search engine returns one group, click on “svecc-announce”.

6. Click “Sign in” and enter your Yahoo ID and Password.

7. At very top, where it says “Welcome”, click on “My
Account.

8. You get to sign in again.

9. Click on “Editing Your Marketing preferences”. (While in this window, uncheck all the boxes if you don’t want to be spammed.)

10. Scroll down to “E-Mail”, and select “Update My E-Mail Addresses”. (You get to sign in yet again. Sigh!).

11. Add your new E-Mail address as one of the alternates.

12. Click “Verify E-Mail Account”.

13. Go to your mail browser and find the new Yahoo E-Mail.

14. Within the E-Mail, click on the line that asks you to verify your address.

15. Now that your new E-Mail address is verified, go back into “My Account” and reopen the “Edit your Marketing Preferences.”

16. Select the new E-Mail address as your primary address by clicking the circle button by the new address.

17. Click Finished.

18. Sign Out.
